Hello, I am Rosa Felix-Jones the owner of Anew U Spa. I want to welcome you to my petite and intimate Spa. My goal is to provide clients with the absolute highest quality massage and skincare treatments in a relaxing environment leaving you feeling like you found your own little private oasis.

My passion for helping others look and feel their best has allowed me to be proficient in the fields of both aesthetics and massage therapy since 2014. I will take time to truly learn who my client is, what their specific concerns and needs are so that I can provide a customized treatment during each visit.

As a licensed Aesthetician, I take a highly personalized, integrative and comprehensive approach to skincare. After a thorough skin analysis, I will customize a treatment plan that will be best for you, as well as a proper, at home, skin care regimen.

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist certified in multiple modalities a few of which are listed below. I promote health, peace and tranquility through my massage, passionately helping clients live without discomfort. I always look forward to continuing to develop and expand my skill set through continuing education.

My focus is on medical massage techniques. Having been trained to skillfully treat clients with both acute and chronic conditions, through modalities such as massage cupping therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, active isolated stretching, pre-natal and more has allowed me to problem solve and relieve pain with Therapeutic Wellness for a Healthy Lifestyle!

Janice Splain

Massage Therapist

I became a Licensed Massage Therapist after graduating from Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage in 2017. I believe the holistic approach is an effective way to treat the various conditions in the body from back pains, to high blood pressure. I am passionate and committed to continuing my massage education to effectively treat my clients. Since graduating, I have completed continuing education courses in aromatherapy, deep tissue, pre-natal, sports massage and trigger points.  I am currently enrolled in the Barefoot Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy Program (Barefoot Massage) and Oncology Massage education programs.

Massage Therapy has provided balance in my life. I want to share this philosophy with my clients using massage as part of their wellness plan. In addition to massage, I enjoy learning about different healing modalities, spending time with family, swimming, hiking, kayaking, reading and exploring the woods with my two dogs (Argus and Lily).

Reiki Master

I am a Reiki Master practicing and teaching all levels of Reiki for the past 20 years. Reiki is extremely powerful, relaxing and calming pure energy. It is not a primary medical treatment but a source of relaxation which facilitates restoring energy to the mind, body and spirit. Reiki is an alternative treatment which can benefit clients suffering from anxiety, cancer, depression, headaches, migraines, and stress. When volunteering for the Gathering Place, I saw some positive benefits when treating cancer patients and their families. In addition to human beings, Reiki’s calming effects can be beneficial to dogs, cats, and horses.

As a native New Yorker, I am now enjoying Cleveland and am a proud Ohioan. My passion is treating Reiki client’s and teaching. I enjoy following live eagles nest cams. I am captivated by their methodical preparation of the nest, egg incubation, feeding and teaching the eaglets to hunt, swim and soar. Their ability to soar and still be connected to Earth is amazing.

Aesthetician and Reiki Master

I have been in the Cosmetology industry over 20 years, working and teaching Cosmetology and Esthetics. My love of this industry led me to the instruction of haircuts, hair color and skincare. In addition to owning my own salon and spa, I was the program coordinator and instructor for Cosmetology and Esthetics at JVS Adult Career Center.

Additionally, I assisted with training and coordinating the American Cancer Society’s “Look Good-Feel Better” program, ultimately, advancing my career with a certification in Oncology Esthetics.

Combining my experience with my energy work as a Reiki Master has brought me full circle in my career.
